This gathering is rooted in education, empowerment, and the radical act of women knowing themselves and each other. It is for every woman who is ready to remember something ancient — that feminine wisdom, feminine community, and feminine power have always been the most dangerous and beautiful forces in the world.
a gathering. a remembering. a beginning.
Elluna is a gathering of women under the full moon — the Flower Moon of May, one of the most ceremonially feminine dates in the entire calendar. Across Celtic, Roman, Germanic, Yoruba, Algonquin, and dozens of other traditions, women have gathered on this exact night for thousands of years. To cook together, to learn together, to dance together in the firelight.
We will sleep under the stars in the wilderness of Colorado. We will communally cook feasts from ingredients we will mutually contribute. We will learn about the healing the Earth has for us and the healing that lives inside our own bodies. We will make things with our hands, tell stories, rest without apology, and enjoy each other's company.
There is no cost to join, nor any qualifiers (beyond being a woman!) to participate. We ask only that you join our gathering with food to share and a willingness to participate. If there are any obstacles presented in our planning that keep you from coming, please reach out and we will figure out a solution to anything that hinders you.
