Walpurgis Eve — April 30th — is one of the oldest women's festivals in European tradition. For thousands of years, women were said to gather in wild places on this exact night, lighting fires and celebrating the threshold between spring and summer.

Beltane is the ancient Celtic festival of May 1st — a fire festival marking the height of spring and the full flowering of life. The Flower Moon is the name given to the full moon of May by Algonquin-speaking peoples, honoring the abundance of flowers blooming at this time.
